Selecting Exceptional Fibres
Our partner ateliers in the mountain regions of Kashmir and the high plateaus surrounding Kathmandu hand-pick premium wool and silk. These fibres give every carpet its enduring strength and natural sheen.
Naturally Dyed Hues
Colours are coaxed from indigo leaves, madder root, walnut husks and pomegranate. Traditional dye-masters in Yazd and Tabriz prepare small-batch pigments that age gracefully for decades to come.
Millions of Hand-Tied Knots
Weaving families in revered centres such as Kashan and Bhadohi knot each strand with mathematical precision—up to 1 million knots per square metre. Their artistry turns complex motifs into living textiles.
Finishing for a Lifetime
After months on the loom, every carpet is washed, sun-dried and carefully clipped in workshops around Herat and Jaipur. The result: a supple handle, luminous pile and edges built for generations of enjoyment.
